Danilo Marinucci opens his account with Introspective with two techno bangers. The Dark Night EP starts off with the title track, which would fit any late night set. It has a solid groove throughout, featuring a brilliant pluck and moving hi-hat pattern. The breakdown works on a steady build and introduces an eerie lead synth which features in the main drop.

For the B-side, we have 'Unstable Machines' which features an incredibly dynamic bassline that drives the whole track. The bassline is accompanied by Danilo's moving percussive lines, including a creative use of cowbell. This tune is definitely a primetime set filler, and no one on the floor will be able to keep still. We can't wait to see what other techno wonders Danilo has in store for the future after this heavy groove-filled EP.
