Alter Ego Records opens up its books to one hell of a trio here. Canadian based duo Joel Freck & Adil Hussain aka BRKDWN x Joel Freck teamed up with Canadian vocal wonder Amy Kirkpatrick to create the very unique club banger “Because of Love”. Remixes come from two rising names Metroom & Harnam who both hand in two stadium sized workouts of their own.

The original mix is an exceptionally creative and infectious track, with plenty of twists and turns. Stampeding undertones are the focus of the intro, gaining momentum as it embarks into a solid energy fuelled intro and that driving bassline. Rich atmospherics sound out in the break with sweet pads, heart warming pianos and the evocative vocal from Amy Kirkpatrick. Soaring top lines and the emotive vocal follow suit and smash themselves into life for a high energy payoff.

Metroom gives “Because Of Love” his typical big room stadium take on the original. The powerful kick and bass bounce along to a sublime breakdown with lots of atmosphere. The build is big and drops with heavy stabbed leads and bass. Great remix from Metroom on this one.

Finally on remix duties we have Harnam who gives “Because Of Love” a real smooth, soulful and really beautiful progressive take on the Original, perfect for those early progressive warm up sets. Great package of remixes for everyone.
