AE299 is a massive release for us. Three absolutely brilliant versions of one track. The original is from new signing Gene Xander. Paradigm City has a beautiful progressive vibe as it floats along in deep tones, with suspense filling the air as you hit the break. The melody drifts in and out with powerful bass pads providing a great atmosphere for the gentle leads. This is a real journey and a great debut on Alter Ego.
On the first remix we have Erika K & Daun Giventi. This Psy influenced power house with rumbling bass lines, chopped vocals and heaps of atmosphere. Beautifully crafted FX and sweeps flow until you are hit by the melody. The drop is an absolute Tech monster. Banging stuff.
Remix two is keeping it an all American affair with Table18 and his first outing on the label. A certain groove lifts you during the intro accompanied by some soft plucks setting the tone. The breakdown is smooth, enchanting and warm. Expect huge power chords at the drop making this the icing on this very delicious cake.
