Tangled Audio’s third release is a scorching two track Psy-Trance EP from Polish producer Changes, also known as G8.
‘Dragonborn’ is a slice of Psy-Trance perfection. A massive driving bassline acts as the backbone of the track, while layer upon layer of psychedelic FX are expertly woven in and out of the mix. Subtle melodic plucks, acid riffs, and dreamy vocals, combined with unparalleled production quality all make ‘Dragonborn’ a must-have for any Psy lover.
‘Choice’, like ‘Dragonborn’, is melody Psy-Trance at its best. Changes’ signature driving bassline drives the track, while various acid lines and Psy fx are filtered in and out of the mix. The breakdown comes complete with a creepy psychedelic vocal before ‘Choice’ blasts in to full Prog-Psy mode with a groovey, bouncey bassline, layered with a huge acid line. A big hoover synth is introduced as the track builds back into full-on mode complete with twisted acid lines, a huge lead synth and driving percussion.
Tangled Audio is proud to welcome Changes to the Psy side of the family. With releases such as this, he is definitely a name to watch out for in the 2014 Psy-Trance scene.
