Spark7 is back on Alter Ego Records for the first time this year with Pieces Broken, a powerhouse vocal masterpiece for release 118 on our main imprint!
Teaming up with Bec Peters, who supplies an emotive and uplfting vocal, Spark7 flexes his muscles and shows us what we he is all about with one of his finest productions to date!
In the wings we have Alter Ego favourite Solid Stone, Somna and Ari Kyle & Audioscape, who supply three fantastic mixes on the flip!
The Original mix is powerhouse affair with big room nuts and bolts driven by a daring bass line and simple yet infectious percussion! The vocal sounds out in the early stages of the track creating an ominous and haunting atmosphere along with some teasing synth work! In the break a beautiful Rhodes is introduced, capturing a gorgeous top line along with some powerful vocal harmonies before breaking into a monstrous climax! Creative and assured tones from one of the shining lights in todays scene!
Solid Stone takes care of remix one and does so very convincingly! Adding more groove, warm undertones, sun-kissed melodic bliss and playful glitch work on top of the originals blueprint! Don't miss this one!
