Sonic Element consists of one member named Fotis from Melbourne, Australia. Fotis started producing trance at the age of 13 after being inspired by a local trance radio show called "Club Cow".

Fotis is a classically trained pianist and sat several practical and theoretical music exams during his teenage years with ANZCA (Australian and New Zealand Cultural Arts Limited).

Sonic Element was established in August 2007 and his uplifting trance sounds continue to be heard across a wide array of labels including Alter Ego, MPFS, Flux Delux, Fourty-5 and more.
