Dave Dowsett the man behind the Factoria project was born in the South East of England in 1981 and still resides there, taking daily inspiration from the Sussex Coast.

Over the past decade Dave has had his productions supported by many top DJs and artists including Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Above and Beyond and many more.

Personal production highlights for Dave include past regular support on Armin Van Buuren’s ‘A State of Trance’ show and Above and Beyond’s ‘Trance Around the World’ broadcasts along with having tracks featured on Dream Dance, Euphoria and many other top compilations.

Dave took a break from producing in 2008 in order to focus on taking over the family business, but in late 2014 he made his return to the scene re-launching his Factoria project. One of his first productions after making his return to the trance scene was his remix for Alter Ego of the classic ‘Dan Stone & Phil Young - Summer Tide’ and this remix was supported by Aly and Fila on their ‘Future Sound of Egypt’ radio show. More recently in October 2016 his classic track ‘Revive’ was re-issued by Alter Ego with some fantastic new remixes. 2017 looks like it is going to be an interesting year for Dave and his Factoria project (Watch this space).
